10 reasons for badminton at TSG Heilbronn

After running, badminton is the most effective form of exercise for the cardiovascular system. Just half an hour to an hour twice a week is enough to significantly increase your fitness level.
You can play badminton almost anywhere. Even at TSG Heilbronn. Up to four times a week!
Badminton is affordable. If you play badminton at TSG Heilbronn, membership fees are relatively low compared to other sports. Most people have sneakers, and rackets aren't expensive either: good beginner rackets are available from the club starting at €30.
Badminton is like a combustion engine. Your body burns a lot of calories without you even noticing. Losing weight and having fun at the same time—where else can you find that? You're constantly moving—unlike in team sports, where you often can't actively participate in the game.
Badminton also means you can set your own pace and don't have to worry about overexertion. You can play in pairs or foursomes, with a friend. Together or against each other. It's all fun.
Badminton is a social sport. Our club organizes fun tournaments, championships, tournament visits, and general social events. Meeting nice people is no problem at badminton.
Badminton is both challenging and easy. Beginners can quickly establish a rally, but there's a long way to go before they can reach a high level of badminton.
You can play badminton at any age: from 7 to 70 – and even together! Hardly any other sport offers this.
Badminton is in. Tennis and squash are declining in many areas – but badminton is booming. Getting fit through badminton is the trend, because badminton trains both body and mind.
Badminton fans are everywhere, and you're in good company. The Olympic sport is becoming increasingly captivating, and anyone who has ever witnessed a top tournament – perhaps even in Asia – as a spectator will never be able to tear themselves away from the sport.
